Krishna Janmashtami 2083

Krishna Janmashtami is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Hindus. In the year 2083 B.S., people in Nepal and many other countries will celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna with great joy and devotion. Lord Krishna is believed to be the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He was born to protect good people and destroy evil. His teachings in the *Bhagavad Gita* inspire millions of people to live with honesty, kindness, and courage. On Krishna Janmashtami, devotees visit temples, offer flowers, fruits, and sweets, and sing devotional songs called bhajans. Many people observe a fast until midnight because it is believed that Lord Krishna was born at that time. Temples are beautifully decorated with lights and flowers, and special prayers are held throughout the day.
